Sul Sul Simmers!
I’m once again writing to say the update to the Sims Legacy Hub app will come soon™. However, that’s not what I want to mainly address in this post. What I really want to tell you is about is a change coming to subscriptions and how the site works, and why.
Don’t worry, subscriptions aren’t going up in price. My intention is to always add value to subscriptions, and add newer tiers if/when necessary, but never take anything away unless absolutely necessary. For this reason, when I initially built Sims Legacy Hub I was more cautious; I preferred to start small and get a better benchmark of how the app would be used and it’s sustainability. The response from the Sims community has been amazing and honestly a little overwhelming for me. By using Sims Legacy Hub and sharing it with your friends, you all have altered the path of my life in a good way, and I want to thank you.
As a thank you, I would like to announce that this upcoming weekend (during a short downtime for server maintenance), I will be changing the platform to enable one free cloud legacy for every Sims Legacy Hub account, now and forever. This is on top of whatever subscription you might have, and the free legacy will benefit from all the upgrades subscriptions come with. There aren’t many currently (mainly just legacy capacity), but there are more benefits in the coming update and I have more planned for after that. Like I said, I prefer to add rather than take away.
So, thanks for being awesome, and I hope you enjoy 🙂
Dag dag,

PS – I also want to say, in my defense, that part of the reason the update is not complete yet is due to my inability to stop adding features whenever I think of one that I think is interesting, and who doesn’t like more features..? I’m saying this to segue to my other news; I am implementing gift codes for subscriptions in the upcoming update.
